there was a guy on evom.net from the chicago area who got his car jacked. i wouldn't say it's impossible, but take cautions. get an alarm. i have that on my car and it gives me a piece of mind.
I live 30 minutes west of DT Milwaukee and never have any issues.
But, if you're in the East Side of Milwaukee (by UWM) I'd be careful. Best bet is an alarm. I know a couple of guys who went the extra mile with proximity alerts and two-way remotes.

Ive been too UWM a couple times with my car... dont really recomend bringing the EVO there. I never had a problem with break ins or anything but have seen alot of people just disrespecting cars like kicking them or will back into them while trying to leave a parrell spot and just leave.
I make my gf drive if we go there now!
don't drive through milwaukee, the roads are bad as hell. stupid potholes.

yea wow potholes are terrible =(
i was gone all last week and had gone down to florida for springbreak. man was it lovely down there. the roads were smooth as hell and the weather was beautiful. i wish i had driven my car down there to experience the florida roads and weather and the road trip down there. looks like the weather is getting better here. we left thursday night a 6, and i guess it started snowing at midnight and all day friday. glad i missed that beating.
winter sucks in wisconsin.
in milwaukee, potholes and manholes are a problem. i am very reluctant to put on my coilovers because i can't enjoy it. i'm bitching half the time and dodging craters in the roads. how's appleton roads? milwaukee are shitty and i mean real shitty.
The roads up here in Appleton aren't much better. I definitely agree if you're going to put on coilovers/slam the car down at all that this isn't the best state to do it in.
I'm usually down in Milwaukee at least once a month visiting friends, etc. I went to the Safehouse for the first time last month...what a sweet place.
I guess it's all relative. The roads back home in NY are much better than they are out here. Also, the section of College Avenue between Kensington and John St. is horrible. Especially with the Evo's suspension, I feel like I need a chiropractor after I drive that way.
