I love clear rims! Car looks soo SICK!
Ya looks way better man.
I need to get me a set of those. How do they feel on the highway?

They feel great! You wouldn't even know they are there.
haha....Like your floating in the air or something!

Do you live there? When I was there for Thanksgiving, I figured I was the only X in town.

It didn't go in as easy as you would have thought. Instructions were vague at times. It did all get in there just fine.
The only issue I have with the kit is that there was a 10" vacuum line included that connects the BPV(is that the abrev. for by pass valve?) to a line on the engine. The hose was too large. I have the stock one on there for now, but its stretched to the max. I'll have to stop by an automotive store to get a longer one.
Edit: you can see the hose stretched in the image above :End Edit
What's funny is that right after I was done, a guy on the other forum posted that he just installed the same kit on his X, and his car was idling all weird and he thought there was a vacuum leak at the BPV. He used the hose that was included. Ha! Good thing I trusted my instincts and knew that that one wouldn't work.

Looks good man!

So, get this; I went to the store to get a new vacuum line, and while removing the old line, I find a screw driver.![]()
Cars love tools! num, num, num!

Welcome, and congrats!
Welcome aboard Michael, car looks very sharp.
We just had an Evo X GSR on the dyno Friday with that Intake. Along with the intake he had a full exhaust w/ STOCK Downpipe, Cobb AP, MKC 3 port boost solenoid, and tune. Put down 350+ on torque and horsepower with just pump gas.

Oh wow. Thats great to hear. I'm hoping to drive down there for a tune as soon as I can get my exhaust. I'd like to see the 400 mark with my car. Its my goal. But we all know how that goes. (more more more, lol)
I'm going to do the full exhaust with a high flow cat.
400 mark will be a task.
This same X made 391 torque when he had an aftermarket BOV on the car. Not sure which one. He switched back to the stock one since then and re-tuned for the 3 port solenoid.
We are going to attempt on adjusting the w/g actuator arm to get more boost at peak torque and hope to carry more to rev limit as well. This will also reduce the amount of overall duty cycle we need to run to achieve a given boost pressure.
For the 400 though, I would think some cams would be needed and/or an e85 tune as well.
If you need anything don't hesitate to hit us up.

I'm thinking about how to lose the chrome on my mirrors. I hate it. I almost didn't get the car because of the chrome. blah.
I was first thinking about some Carbon Fiber covers. But I'm not a fan of carbon fiber, so thats a bit of a no go.
Then I realized that I should just pop the mirrors apart and do a sand 'n' spray job on them in flat black.
So that leads me to what to use for paint. I've seen some guys plastic dip parts like the chrome on the head lights, lower front lip (cause they envy us :P ) and other things (like rims).
Anyone know of a good spray - plastic - flat black - soft - can take side mirror bug damage - paint?
(night time ache coughing so you can sleep meds?)![]()
I would think any kind of rattle can paint made for metal/plastic would suit your needs. May want to think about giving them a couple of coats of clear to help protect them a bit more.

Flat clear coat?
Yes please....chrome on cars suck! I hate chrome.
Hey what did you drive before the X? I kinda find it hard to believe that I lived in Papio for over a year and you never saw any of my cars.

A honda accord 2 door.![]()
