Love the color!
Bring your Iowa Evo up to Minnesota on August 26th for the All Mitsu Cookout: http://midwestevos.com/forums/showthread.php?t=84 Last year we had over 30 Evos ther and I'm sure we'll top that this year. Hopefully we'll have 150 cars there total.
later,
Curt
how did you get just you fogs to light up?
There was a guy on evom that was building and selling a box that you hookup and lets the fogs turn on whenever. I have recently taken it off because they go on and off at random times. People started thinking I was flashing my lights at them all the time. Good idea, but not quite there yet.
nice!
Sounds like he is going to start building them again, so if anyone is interested in the fog light curcuit:

Hey guys and gals, just an update on what's been happening over in my little world. So I quit smoking 4 weeks ago and went through some serious depression and anxiety...Serious enough that I had to go see my doctor today. I was at the point of not wanting to talk to anyone, not caring about anything, I gave up my music, didn't care about anything car related or any of my friends and was taking off so much work that I was worried I might lose my job. I even started pushing my girlfriend away.
My doctor was basically in a panic because it was so bad. He actually told me to stop trying to quit for now and start smoking again (just not as much) he was seriously worried about what I might do. He told me that the smoking was probably hiding some condition that would need to be dealt with at a future time. He wanted to put me on some meds to help but said that I was doing more damage to my health than the smoking would do right now.
I started smoking and fell 100% better, I'm actually happy again and can actually sit and write this...imagine that.
Anyway, hope everyone had a good Holiday and all is well. Hope to be on here more now that I'm coming back to life![]()

Well glad to hear that your feeling happy again![]()

Sounds good. Only a few more months till spring
I cant wait..... You run the quarter?

Veddy Nyce.... You have quite the Mod list.. Do you do your own installs and Tuning?
Your Et is very similar to what I ran at CFR... I ran a 12.6 @109 but my 60 ft was 2.0.
I'll try to find my Slip.
I did all the installs myself but tuning I left up to Al twice and then just sent it to Buschur for a final tune. I'll probably do another dyno tune this year just for good measures.
I was on all seasons with -3.5f -3.0r camber, basically running on the insides of the tires.![]()
So was the Cam install very hard?
No not really. As long as you get the belt tensioner tool everything is pretty easy. If I remember right it only took a few hours. An extra set of hands always helps too.
Thats good too know.. I got some GSC Stage 1 coming in the near future. I was read about Bleeding the lifters so you wont get "Lifter Tick"
You sent your car to Buscher? I know Prez does his own Tuning. You might know him. He has a WW EVO8.
Bleeding the lifters is really easy, just insert pin, and push the oil out 10 or 12 times per lifter. Super easy.
SP do you know Prez? Hey Im actaully headed up to Ankeny Now... Gotta get some shit from Target. What you doing?
o man Cedar Falls was allways horible for me every time i would go there i would cut 2.1 60fts it was like i was on ice. then i would jump over to Tristate raceway and cut 1.55's
Yea I agree, for some reason CF is a slow track. In my old car I would consistently run faster at Byron.
Here's an update. Going to install these (Pic/Pure Tuning TT) and go for a corner balance/alignment by Robispec this Friday.
And here's the 4pt rollbar and AMS exhaust:
![]()
Well got the suspension installed. Had Robi corner weight and balance then discovered that my 255/40-17's with r-comps wouldn't clear the coilovers or the fender linings in front, so I had to put 15mm spacers on in front, extended studs and cut the liners out some.
Turned out pretty good though. The PIC TT's are extremely stiff and driving on the street sucks, (good thing this is basically a track car)
Here's a few pics:
And few random pics just because

Wow, looking at those pics, I really need to wash my car![]()
