Injector scaling and latencies

I would certainly like to do this, but am still to green to be able to figure that out yet. If i have time this weekend I would like to get it switched over....

I'll look it over and see what I can come up with, don't be surprised if you get a Tephra V7 file as well to work with. This way we can go forward with this file for your tuning during the B-day meet.

This car is already setup on Tephra V5

I tried for hours last night to open up the Tephra example bin file that he includes with the XML package downloaded from EvoM

I placed the 2 XML files, along with the BIN file, in my XML directory (mitsubishi>evo>..) and tried opening the BIN and it is still saying invalid ROM type.....The ROM ID within the XML files is correct, so I have no idea why im not able to open his example bin

I fought the same thing. It turned out I didnt add the XML to the correct location.

Biggie and I text eachother for probably 3 hours tonight, messing with my data....

I am not sure what the hell was happening the other night with the ROM issues, but I am getting none of that now. We had an extremely modified XML file that was not allowing me to see a majority of the tables within ECU flash. Its almost like, once I removed that XML file, all my probs went away...

FWIW I was putting the xml files within the correct directory

I just got v7 downloaded and opened it up in ECU flash. Shortly, im going to begin getting it setup to load to the car

Yeah. The tables available to him looked like the tables available 3 years ago. There wasn't much.

Car is setup on V7 and starts up/idles better than it did on the 9694 rom.

Did a boost leak test immediately after ensuring it would fire up, and found a small rip in the coupler on the TB, so I'll be replacing that after continuing further..

EcuFlash does use the ROM Id embedded in the XML file, not the file name itself. So you can't have old files sitting in your RomMetaData folder, even if you renamed them.

Correct. If I wanted to keep the XML file, but have a rom use a different xml file, I would just rename the old one to XXXXX.bak instead of .xml

That may work. But I would rather see it just moved to a different folder outside of RomMetaData.
