A Big F..U to the Leavenworth Vandals

Finally was able to get the silver spray paint off courtesy the jacka$$ that vandalized my car. Not really 100% yet but just a few small overspray spots to go and it will be back to almost nice again.

What did you use to remove it? I think washing it first then trying clay bar should have been plan A...

Why you would not wash it first is beyond me. From the pics it looks like you just used a washcloth and some chemicals to scrub it off. I can't believe you let it sit for so long too.

I actually used some all purpose cleaner with bleach and a little green scrub pad really gently. The clay bar worked great on my wifes car but the paint on mine was too thick it would take off the rough layer and just leave a smoothed out layer underneath so the clay bar had nothing to grab onto.

I apologize for not washing it first as that seems to have upset you.

No, it was a crap weather day and really it looks dirty but I cleaned the areas I was taking the paint off with by section I just didnt think to take a picture of that,and my daughter was asleep in the house and my hose is still put up in the winter so didnt get a chance to take it to the wash til the wife got home

I left it that way mainly because I dont have a garage and they havent caught the guys doing it yet and this isnt the first time my car has been vandalized it got 3 windows shot out before the paint. But they only shot the windows with tint on them so those windows have not yet been retinted, it looks stupid but its seems to be the only thing that keeps them from getting shot out because without the tint it would be too loud I guess.

Nope no clue....they have been hitting people for a while but I think I have been the only spray painted one so far.....now to go get the spots from the bb's in my doors taken care of.

did the green scrub pad hurt the clear coat any?

To my suprise no it doesnt seem to have hurt the clear coat....I really took my time and tried not to force it. Used a combination of the Clay bar and scrub pad.

Find them and put Aircraft Remover on their car.. It will eat the paint straight to the medal.

No I dont live on post, I have a pitbull and the army just recently ban them along with some other breeds on all military bases so I cant live on post.
