Why the Skunk2 intake manifold. I thought Emery hated those?

I don't think Emery hates the manifold. It just needs a little "adjusting" before it will work properly. I ran this on my black Evo and had no issues on the street, and, well, it ran 9's. No complaints

More info on this adjusting? I remember something like him porting it, the oem t/b wouldnt seal, and it kept leaking everywhere.

I got to drive it!! Well, kinda. I moved it. Feels like Ricer... but not so "cagey" and with POWER STEERING!

I tried to get some pics outside, but it's like 19 degrees. So we will have to wait a few more days for good pics.

So, we packed everything up and headed out to Englishtown, NJ for the Street Wars/Evo vs Subaru Event on 3-11-12.

Since STM just finished up the RS, we decided the best place to "test" it out would be in front of hundreds of people, customers and race fans alike. We had a rough "start" to the day pulling the RS off the trailer, and the starter was shot! Figures. After a failed attempt at the local Pep Boys, we had a great friend save the day and we borrowed his starter. Thanks again, Jack!

First pass down the track was a roll-in, 1-2-and part of 3. I believe the track time was 11.9 @ 91 LOL. Next pass, 1-2-3, roasting the tires and coasting the rest of the way. 10.0 @ 118. Finally, third run, staged against a Subaru, the crowd wanted it and Emery let them have it! 9.36 @ 152.24. The RS is still on the stock transmission, so Emery is running out of room in the RPM's in 4th gear, so he hit the rev limiter toward the end of the 1/4 and had to let out and coast a bit...

It was an awesome day. Got to meet a ton of great people and to those great people: Thank you for the kind words and support! Not to mention awesome pictures and videos! Thanks Jonathan and Jalal!

Good times the night before meeting up with some local NYC Evo guys and cruising through downtown and Times Square in the Dodge dually. LOL!! Thank you Jesse, Tom and Jack, for making the first STM trip of the year a great one!
