I will be picking up the motor and trans all put together ready to drop in with the new Exedy Twin HD already installed along with IM and FF mani and turbo setup all ready to go. UPDATE! Still working hard on the evo as much as possible. Had to order some new y lines for the BR double pumper due to a hole in the one. I have just finished removing all the power steering lines, pump, resivior and acd lines from the car really freeing up some engine room space. Today i finished installing AMS PS Delete kit and began the long tedious process of cleaning the engine bay to make it look brand new. Still a long way to go. Man is the bay dirty. Last but not least the head is being sent out this week to be done, and who knows maybe even the motor:eek: heres a couple pics!

SMALL UPDATEJust a small update for everyone, there has been some progress on the car, and i will have some more pictures shortly but for now here is just a small update on parts that have come in recently and a hint of things to come. Few things arrived today such as a harness bar and racing harness, 20mm spacers to allow me to run my rota slipstreams and m/t drag slick wheel combo, air filter for the turbo for street driving, so we can do testing and not worry about sucking up any rocks or anything, and my giant Toxicfab stickers came in as well which will be going on the car once i finish the build and detail it. To dusty right now. But these things are like 5ft long. Cant thank Collin and ToxicFab enough and im proud to have their name on the side of BeerCan. I have named the car beer can after my father has called my car a BeerCan or noise maker countless times because its a ricer, so i have now embraced it and named her BeerCan Lol. Onto the pics

ToxicFab Stickers for the car
The major changes that will be coming are just around the corner but im waiting till i have it so i can post pictures. BUT THINK STATIC COMPRESSION AND YOU MIGHT FIGURE OUT WHATS IN STORE FOR BEERCAN! STAY TUNED FOR MORE UPDATES!
Haha, those stickers are awesome!! I was in the other room & Collin starts laughing, so I came in the room & saw those big ass stickers lying on the floor, haha! Can't wait to see those on the car man! BTW, where did you get that harness bar? It's not a Sparco bar, it's an ebay special...I ran the same one in my car for a couple yrs. I actually liked the harness bar, made pretty well & it's 3 solid pieces, unlike most bars with adjustable ends. There is definitely a noticeable difference in chassis stiffness after installing it. Only thing I didn't like about it was it's a bit heavy.
MINI UPDATESo it has been awhile since i posted anything on the build and figure id share a few things that have come along with the car. Been busy with school and work which has slowed my progress down. Anyway the car has now had the engine bay cleaned up and wire tucking and rerouting will begin tom finally! However i cleaned the whole engine bay using brake cleaner and a few other shop cleaners we have for detailing. I Removed the Front Sway bar, got a little irritated that day so i decided to have fun and cut it out!
Don't need it ever again and it relieved some stress lol. And last but not least my ToxicFab Race FMIC showed up today and i wanted to share some more detailed pics for everyone to see! Thanks again Collin, once again you exceeded my expectations.{thumbup} Also did the clutch restrictor pill removal which was already done, but good to know, as well as got the radiator mounted up finally. And lastly there have been some delays on a major upgrade im waiting to get back to finish rebuilding the car but we plan to be racing as of June so stay tuned as she is about to be finished fast! Stay tuned for more updates.

Lots of work going on. Better hurry up as the tracks are open. (I should be telling myself that) We have the same goal but mine is with built motor, full interior, bigger turbo and a child seat.
This build is sick man, I can't wait until it's done.
FMIC looks badass behind the bumper! Nice Tyler!!
Mini Update Double Pumper, Clean up, Dash removal beginsJust another minor update today as i did the whole BR double Pumper install, routing the hobs switch to the engine bay. (If anyone has questions on this please feel free to pm me, happy to help and save a few headaches that can catch you if you aren't sure). Also i began to clean the lower control arms today, and the crap off the wheel wells. NOT FUN! Every pound counts though. And lastly i began the dash removal today. Here is a couple pictures of the process today, dash pictures will come later with a whole compilation start to finish. Stay tuned updates will be coming fast.

Dash Removal, Blower/Heater Core removal and Complete car rewire and tuck beginning, Mini Rad and STM Overfill can installWell since having some extra time on my hands due to a certain delayed part I began the dash removal today (contemplating making a how to thread, lmk i there is interest and i will take pictures and make one if there is enough interest in it). All that's left under the dash is the heater core which is ready to drop out tomorrow. Then its onto the wiring, being a perfectionist and having some extra time i have decided to not only re-wire the engine bay as well as do a wire tuck, but do all the wiring under the dash and wiring running to the back of the car. Going to be a lot of work but interested to see how much weight i save and having a almost wire free engine bay! Onto just a few pictures for now.

Front Bumper Install, ToxicFab Race FMIC install, AngryAero Bumper Shutters! Just a small update today, as i installed the ToxicFab Race FMIC! Let me say this is one giant FMIC but looks absolutely amazing. The Bumper Shutters are Jason (AngryEvoor AngryAero Bumper Shutters. Sorry for the crappy pics but enjoy. This was only mock up install, so everything is not perfect to my liking in this picture, but it was to cool not to share. More updates to come after my weekend trip to DynoTech for the dynoday! Stay Tuned for more updates!

Motor Build Revealed and ToxicFab Battery Tray So for awhile i have been hinting at a big addition to my quest for 9s and i was waiting on it to come in so i could have some pictures to share . Well sure enough it came in on Friday and was on display all day at DynoTech Dyno day Saturday. Buschur Racing just sent me my Buschur Racing 2.0 Long rod, Aluminum Rod, 10:0:1 compression block. All i can say is wow, this motor is gorgeous, Buschur really made an amazing motor, and I can't wait to see it in action. Thanks Dave and the guys over at BR, i was blown away with what i saw, thanks for the hard work!{thumbup} We also had the oil pan baffled as well while it was there. The head will be returning this week and hopefully in 2 weeks or so the whole motor, trans, t-case setup will be in the car. Also my battery tray came in today from Collin and wow not only is it awesome but holy **** is it light, going to weigh it but i highly doubt it is much over a pound if that. Thanks Bud, ill have it installed soon! Can't wait to get the car started. Just around the corner! Stay Tuned!{thumbup}

Update 4/30/12Today was more tedious time getting the engine harness out of the car and today finally i have removed the main engine harness and have begun the tedious process of rewiring it and tucking the harness to save weight and make the engine bay as wire free as possible. Also i removed the headlights today to have Jason (AngryAero) Black them out and make them look like JDM headlights, another awesome service he offers besides shutters, block off plates and front lips. Pics to come soon on that. Lastly i removed the windshield wiper motor which came in at 9lbs on my old busted scale, i will be weighing it on a better scale tomorrow. Stay tuned for more updates!

UPDATE Harness Wiring, Hood Pins, Blacked Out HeadlightsI know i have been slacking on the updates lately but a lot of progress has been made on the car. Probably a lot I'm forgetting to post up but I have finished redoing the Dash control harness, removed and rewired the whole back half of the car, and am currently finishing up rewiring the Engine Harness. Also Jason (AngryAero) blacked out my headlights to make the car look more stealthy and mean, and man all i can say is wow what a difference. Every evo should have black headlights! And last but not least i am just about finishing up the hoodpin install, only about another 15 mins left and then i will be painting them black! And Yes I know the car needs a wash. It will be getting a full detail shortly as completion of the project is just around the corner! Stay Tuned for more updates!

looking really really good! I still see a LOT of weight that you're missing![]()
Awesome build, man. Good luck!
Engine Harness Update 85% DoneSo i have spent a ridiculous amount of time working on this engine harness and it is almost done! I've probably got about 2-3 hours left on it but so far i have pulled a **** load of wiring, relocated the fuse box under the dash, the battery will be re-located under the dash (Thank you Streetthisevo), all the relays have been moved under the dash. As of now all thats left is to remove the ACD lines, clean up any mess left, and tape it all up and adjust sensor length when the motor goes in Thursday! Here are pictures of the process as it has come along! Sorry the pictures are not the best my phone is not very good, maybe one day ill get a camera! The last 3 pictures are where the harness currently sits! Also found time to fix my subframe problem and mount my slicks up onto the rims
Been living off no sleep and a ton of Rockstar energy drinks! Enjoy more udpates to come, hopefully a start up video this weekend!
